In this episode of Glitter Dice Plays, the Glitter Dice crew portray the brave women of the SOE, a British special operations division during WWII, as they play Alex White's narrative storygame A Cool and Lonely Courage. While there is no overt violence depicted during the course of this game, the horrors of WWII are frankly discussed and the threat of violence toward the women of the SOE, as well as other characters close to them, including lovers and children, does occur. A Cool and Lonely Courage is a serious game that deals with serious subject matter, and listeners should prepare themselves accordingly.
